Pick between 3 and 10 words from the list below. Write a poem containing those words. Post it in the comments.
fallen, explosive, ashes, steal, glint, fleeting, luminious, hunger, insatiable, inhale, reveal, morgue, moon, chord, bound, baffled, prisoner, slave, holy, remembrance, destroyed, ruins, crucify, stranded, temple, mourn, lightening, stroke.
this is an attempt to use all of the words,, and create a vision outside the collective comfort zone… i am not sure if it works,, but there are some rather good images….
“baffled”
Thanks for taking part!
Here’s mine:
Beloved
Prisoner
Ashes have fallen
past the moon,
luminous in its light.
Showers of fleeting stars
destroyed by Heaven’s
insatiable hunger.
The sky inhales
star-ruins,
prisoners now on earth.
Fantastic, Pam! The imagery is gorgeous.
