Lyrics and Verse Challenge

Your challenge for this prompt is to find a line within the lyrics of the song I’ve linked to below. Use just one line from that song as the first line in a new poem.

Want to play Poetry Tag?

This poem started at PWB.

Tag Poem Two

Gasping for breath

like this is the end

Would you like to add the next line. Here’s what you do?

Be the first to post TAG in the comments. Then take these lines and add one, in a post on your own blog, along with these instructions. Whoever adds the nineteenth line then takes the poem to Poets Who Blog at http://poetswhoblog.blogspot.com/ and puts the whole poem in the comment section there. Each person who plays need to also mention what site you were at when you found the poem so that other bloggers can follow the breadcrumbs back to this poem. You can play more than once but not twice in a row.

So who is next?

Grab and Go poetry

Take a line from Poet’s Online Random Line Generator and use it within a new poem.

Link to your work in the comments.

The Boundless Inspiration Project

Photographer Anthony McCune has offered to let all PWB members use his photos to supplement their poetry posts.

So your challenge is to visit his site,Artistic Photography, find a picture that inspires you and then to create a new poem.

Save the photo to your computer, then post the poem and photo together on your blog.

Mr. McCune asks that you remember to credit the photo to him and link to his site within your post. Also, please leave a comment for him on the photo you decided to use. Please remember to comply with all three of these Terms of Use.

Leave a link here if you decide to take part. Thanks for visiting PWB Interactive.

Poetic Synergy

Would you like to donate a line of poetry for another poet to use?

Feel free  to grab a line from the comments section, write a new poem incorporating it, and then give credit to who the line orginally came from.

Here is a poem I wrote using this process:
